Class Outline
The half day course uses lecture and graphic exercises to cover both formats of the examination: ARE 3.1 and ARE 4.0. Candidates with all levels of experience are welcome – those who just opened the books or those who tried and failed the exam. Covered areas:

• General test requirements and available study materials
• NCARB software tools
• Code issues
• Design considerations
• Winning strategies
• Time saving techniques
• Passing and failing solutions

Mock Exam in Paper & Pencil format in class
Individual evaluation of each solution to point out areas that might present problems on the actual exam

• Mechanical & Electrical Plan

Mock Exam in Computer format (available for download after the class - see attachments at the end of this page)

How to prepare
